What happened to Passover?

The Christian Easter celebration was called Passover (a chronological period of time known and supervised by the Jewish authorities) until the time of the Nicean Council in 325 A.D. A cardinal rule for the celebration of Easter is the deliberate attempt to hold the Passover of the Holy Scriptures in contempt because Jewish people continue to observe this period as they had since their Exodus from Egypt. To prevent an association, theologians at Nicea were NOT to observe their Passover (which was later changed in Anglo-Saxon countries to the name "Easter") on a Sunday that the Jews would ordinarily keep their Passover.

This was to promote their own condescending opinions concerning Jewish practices. To do this, they required all Christians when "Easter" occurred on the Jewish Passover to postpone the Christian "Easter" to the following Sunday in order to have nothing in common with the Jewish crowd

And to further alienate the Jews from any participation in any of their "Easter" services, numerous pagan symbols were adopted by Christians that they knew the Jews would hold in disregard. These include practices such as bunny rabbits, egg hunts, and other customs of the Gentiles.

Tough Times Never Last, Tough Moms Do

The mother of two fatherless boys in Kennesaw, Ga receives an award for over-achieving single mothers.

Nickole Hawkins husband was killed fourteen years ago, introducing her to single parenthood. "It was a very tough time for me as a young mother after losing my husband at an early age." Nickole continues to provide motherly guidance for her young men the best way she knows how. With the support from family, she was able to attend a vocational school and received a Medical Assistant Certification. Nickole decided to move back to GA. En route to Atlanta she was involved in a six car pile up and was bed ridden for 3 months and unable to work.

Since the accident, Nickole finally was able to focus on getting back on track and began a career in the Dental Field. She has been with her current employer for seven years and has opened two additional offices and now serves as the Regional Director. She gives back to her community by volunteering as a mentor/coach for her sons' basketball league, as well as girl's volleyball.

"I am proud of my sons. Michael is a junior in high school and in another year I will have to contend with college tuition. Life has been tough for us but we are survivors and when you are given lemons you make Lemonade."

America's Best Freakin Dance Crew

Attention my fellow followers! This is the Emcee-Ambassador bringing you the latest entertainment news in Atlanta! Over the weekend, on March 21, Pure Atlanta nightclub was packed with fans waiting for the breathtaking performance of the Beat Freaks. For those that are not familiar with this group, Beat Freaks is an all girl dance crew from Los Angeles, CA that lost to Quest, an all boy dance crew, in season three final episode of MTV's America’s Best Dance Crew.

Fans arrived at the club as early as 10 P.M. to get the first glimpse of the Beat Freaks. While waiting for the Beat Freaks to arrive, people danced to great music. Once the Beat Freaks were in the building around midnight, their presence halted the fans from dancing and swarmed to them like bees! The Beat Freaks performed around one forty five in the morning.

Before the Beat Freaks performed, a local dance crew in Atlanta named Swagger Crew opened the show. Their footwork, precision and execution were in rhythm with the beat. The performance was amazing!

Now, the moment that everyone was waiting for has finally arrived. When the group ran on stage for the performance, fans went crazy! The excitement was of great magnitude. They were screaming, taking pictures and shoving to get the best view. The crew lined up in a row signaling for the performance. Once the music started, you could feel the floor rumbling! The crew introduced a small segment from each performance performed from the show. Two segments involved the baseball bats and robotic movements. They blew the fans away again when they performed the robotic movements with such precision and execution.

One final note, there is no greater satisfaction than to experience an up-close, live performance of the Beat Freaks.
Stay tune for the video of their performance!
